Supporting children, young people, adults and communities of African heritage and others by delivering quality services that are grounded in the African Village Model and underpinned by both strong collectivist and individual cultural values and support systems.
Village Support Limited’s work is guided by an approach inspired by the African tradition that raising and supporting a child is the responsibility of the entire community. Families, mentors, elders, educators and community leaders all play an important role in helping young people grow with confidence, identity and purpose.
This community-centred approach recognises that young people thrive when they feel supported not only by their families, but also by a broader network of positive influences. By bringing communities together, we help create strong support systems that encourage young people to stay engaged in education, develop leadership skills and build positive pathways for the future.
Our programs reflect this philosophy by combining mentorship, cultural engagement, family support and community initiatives. These programs provide safe spaces where young people can connect with mentors, strengthen their cultural identity and develop the confidence needed to pursue their goals.
Through this shared responsibility and community support, Village Support Limited helps create environments where young people feel valued, families feel supported, and communities grow stronger together.
