Village Support Limited (“VSL”) has been registered by Queensland African Communities Council (“QACC”) to facilitate a compliant governance framework to facilitate the increased need of the African Communities in Australia.
Village Support Limited was established by the Queensland African Communities Council (QACC) to strengthen support services for African communities across Queensland.
Over the past two decades, these communities have grown significantly, representing people from more than 50 countries with diverse cultural, linguistic and social backgrounds. As this growth continued, it became clear that additional structures were needed to deliver culturally informed programs that support young people, families and communities.
Village Support Limited was created to provide that dedicated framework. As a specialist support organisation, it focuses on strengthening cultural identity, supporting young people and creating positive pathways through initiatives such as:
